Where was I?

So I've been on hiatus, big time, for the last 2 years settling into my new job as a Slot Machine Graphic artist. Learning a lot about the composition aspect of arranging information. Filling in elements when needed. Not to mention getting over a one big wild goose chase of a love triangle.  Now its having to deal with working in a team of industry veterans. This is what it looks like. I keep making that mistake of thinking. "Oh! Now that's over, next year will be pretty sweet." And it has. With the one exception of having to realize, my old ques are failing me. That I have to readjust myself. OH! and this website isn't such a pain in the ass to use now.

I'm Back!

Composition and Color 2.

Awhile back I wrapped up my class with Marshall with this assignment of "Dream Teller" An open to interpretation assignment covering on the utility of simple design an color to then make a more complex piece simple.

Just this past week I learned to break down composition like a puzzle for a dumb guy. In it, I simplified by value and color, as well as soft and hard edges.

Last semester with The Art Department, a number of students and I had the honor of being reviewed by Jeremy Cranford.

Past Advertisment Work

Earlier this year I worked with my client in spiffing up their proposals. I didn't think this would be in my radar of interest until I did it.

Here I was to populate the scene with the targeted clients.




With the first open of the Chateau Nightclub opening here were two of MANY concepts I did clean sketch for.
